Book Tour
Legacy Village, Lyndhurst on Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m.
Dear PSU Alumni of Cleveland,
I'm a Penn State graduate and I'll be in your neck of the woods soon
to discuss and sign my new book, bicycling anthology. It's been a
long time since I rode my old green Schwinn Varsity between classes
at
University Park (sometimes wiping out on the ice, I'll
admit!). I'm tickled to be doing the final stop of a 10-month,
nationwide book tour at
Joseph-Beth Booksellers, Legacy Village, Lyndhurst, on
Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m.
I am the editor of (and contributor to) The Bicycle Book: Wit,
Wisdom & Wanderings, a collection of articles, stories and cartoons
from a talented corps of 25 writers and cartoonists, including a
Pulitzer Prize winner and cartoonists whose work has appeared in an
array of leading publications--Discover, Dirt Rag,
Reader's Digest, The New Yorker,
Boys' Life,
Forbes, the Washington Post and Oregon Cyclist. The book also
features an exclusive interview with
Chris Carmichael,
Lance Armstrong's long-time coach and friend, and the musings
of Dirt Rag publisher, Maurice Tierney, and Bike Culture founder,
Richard Fries. It's a tribute to bicycling by those who love to
ride.

Thanks for your time and GO LIONS!
All the best,
