Akron Heart Walk

Heart disease is America's #1 killer and sadly many of us have been touched in some way in our lives by this deadly disease - so let's do our part to fight it! This is a wonderful opportunity to rally your friends, co-workers, family members and neighbors to support a great cause! For the 4th year in a row, we have the opportunity to take part in an extremely worthwhile and FUN event - the 2008 American Heart Association Heart Walk!

A non-competitive 2 mile walk around The University of Akron campus that promotes a healthy lifestyle and raises needed funds for research and education programs of the American Heart Association.
